Review content:
The only positive about the place is that it is very clean. My daughter had been at Wake for years. Each year it seemed to get worse. The owners do not care about anything besides progressing their own daughters. The owner/ coaches think it's okay to ignore, make fun of, crush the spirit of and degrade the gymnasts. This is not the atmosphere for positive reinforcement and they do not do well with gymnasts that are tentative or fearful. The coaches do not spot the girls much at all. It is dangerous and at some point something horrible is going to happen because of their negligence. Parents are not permitted to ask questions. I've seen multiple gymnasts get kicked out of wake because the parents had concerns or questions. We've moved to another nearby gym and it is so much better.
