Janet Peters offers probably the worst customer service on the planet. I had about 8 vehicles insured through her. One of them (a motorcycle) was stolen. All state paid the claim but Janet continued to bill me for coverage on the bike. I pay yearly and did not notice right away that she was padding my bill. She has avoided my calls and not followed through with promises of a refund for 6 months now. She bilked me for about $900 before I caught on. I'd be inclined to believe it was just incompetence and not outright fraud if she'd corrected the problem. Also, don't expect to actually talk to her if you need any kind of customer service or have a problem. She has an assistant who seems very nice, but doesn't know anything other than when your next payment is due and can't actually do anything to help you. Actually, I guess I do hear from her: in addition to spamming your email, she also periodically robocalls her existing customers with prerecorded messages about upgrading or expanding your coverage. So if you like getting recorded telemarketing calls in the middle of your work day on your cell phone, work line, and home phone (any phone # you have given her) from companies that you already do business with then she might be a good choice for you. \r

Allstate is probably a decent company, just stay away from this agent.
