Review content:
I was under the impressions that since they were recommended by the radio talk show “Rosie on the house” I would get a good professional paint job and an excellent customer experience. The crew was extremely polite and friendly. At the beginning of the day we did a walk trough and pointed few things out just to make sure they did not get overlooked. Initially I was not supposed to be home but due to an unfortunate illness I happened to be home during the time they were painting. The house had three different colors.: Fascia in white, the trim around windows and doors in blue and the main body in off white, and all paints was suppose to be in egg shell finish as stated in the contract.
Day one:
They started to paint the fascia in crème color instead of white.
They painted the blue trim in flat paint.
I got them to corrected.
Day two:
I Noticed that a couple of areas were not painted and made them aware of it, and did not get corrected
Day Three:
On their last day I pointed out the same areas as before and did not get done.
Day four:
My wife and I did a thorough look and found the following:
Those two areas were not done.
Did not properly dig the dirt around the foundation in a couple of small areas as per contract
Did not do a thorough clean up including paint drips as per contract.
Did not properly scrape paint ships around garage door jam and a cracked and peeling caulk on side wall by the garage.
They were corrected a couple of days later, so I thought...
The following day I noticed:
The one area that I mentioned few times was not addressed.
The whole foundation in the front of the house did not get touched
All of the door frames did not get painted.
A supervisor came over to take a look for himself and found more ares that needs to be painted.
Few days later the guy showed up and we went over the areas needed attention. So when I stepped outside to check on there process I noticed that he was painting the foundation without applying the dry lock as stated in the contract. I did point the out to him and also told that I am not going to complain anymore and went inside.
Unfortunately there are a couple a little things that were not done correctly that I’ll just fix myself.
