DO NOT go to LUH Emergency room for service. They do not employ their own doctors, they use rent a doctor and they do not know what they are doing. I had gone to Longmont Clinic Urgent Care on a Saturday afternoon and was told that it was my Gallbladder and sent me over to LUH ER department to run the blood work and ultra sound. The ER Dr. told me that it was fatty liver and was going to send me home with pain meds. The on-call surgeon happened to get out of surgery and stopped by to examine me and said that I was going nowhere that it was my gallbladder and that it needed to come out. The ER doctor was incompetent and had the nerve to charge me for Level 5 care. I was there for over 3 1/2 hours and saw him maybe a total of 5 minutes that whole time and he had the nerve to charge me the top level of care. I've instructed my family to NEVER take me to LUH ER!! The hospital staff I dealt with after I was admitted and the care I received after my surgery was wonderful but I will never us
