I had called several companies to complete bids for an 8ft cap and board, cedar privacy fence at my mother's property. I am in the military/special warfare community and my mother agreed to take care of my Pitbull-terrier while I am deployed. She needed a superior, secure, tall fence to keep the dog contained. She had an existing 4 foot picket fence that wasn't going to do the job. After several obscene quotes from other companies, Brendan came out and expeditiously completed a quote for our project. He was very detailed in his vision for the fence and worked off of my desires/specifications as well. His quote was extremely detailed and provided multiple price points based on material choices. We experienced some delays due to the weather but that comes with the territory. Construction projects, especially those that take place outside are rarely completed on consecutive days. These days, its rare to find a contractor who will literally build your fence from the ground up. Most contractors set posts and put up pre-fab panels. Not Brendan. Brendan set the posts, established grade, built the frame, put up 300+ individual pickets, built gates. Our fence is a work of art. Brendan made it a priority to complete our project on schedule and even worked Saturdays to get it done. What we ended up with was a magnificent 8 foot, cedar cap and board fence that is sure to keep any dog contained. Communication was excellent as well. Brendan was very quick to inform me of progress, delays, expectations, etc., via text, email and phone. If you are looking for a contractor who will show up, keep the lines of communication open, complete quality work for a very fair price and do it with pride and high energy; Brendan is your guy. I would absolutely encourage anyone to contact Brendan/Scopus Marsh Contractors for their next construction project.
