Review content:
Stayed here over Art Deco Weekend. Good location to shopping, dining and Ocean Drive festivities. Off the main drag. Staff super-friendly and helpful, although a request on last day to fix clogged toilet went unanswered. Happy ""hour"" was nice (but their website says it's from 8-10, info in room says 7-9 - in actuality - it's only 7-8 pm). Also, conflicting information given on the free shuttle to/from the airport. Ask hotel directly when the shuttles run. Room was clean, towels plentiful, robes are nice. CD player was broken, though. Also, there is a ""resort fee"" of $5/day that the State of Florida imposes on your stay. This is not disclosed on the Whitelaw website. All-in-all, it was an enjoyable place to stay. The long bed-like couches on the front porch invite lounging in the sun. Cool music drifts in and out of the front door. I'd recommend it.
Pros: Friendly staff, Moderate prices, Clean
Cons: slow response, to service requests
