Businiess name:  Mcculloch's Wide Width Shoes

Review content:
We were long time customers. Traveled from Bakersfield for 6 years to purchase shoes there, and have been going there for more than 10 years. We recently referred our mother to them for help with her problematic feet, as she had just had surgery on one, and needed more surgery on the other. She's a CNA and needed comfortable, wide shoes for her line of work. She usually wears a size 10 and the podiatrist told her she's been wearing the wrong shoe size, even though he measured her foot as she sat down (not standing up, like shoe stores usually do), and she's been wearing a size 10 for most of her adult life. The podiatrist sold her an expensive shoe in a size 9 1/2 that felt fine in the store. But when she took it the next day to work it felt tight, and made her slip in the shower as she bathed her patients. She almost slipped twice, so she stopped using them and returned them (4 days after purchasing them, and with her receipt). They not only did not want to refund or exchange the shoes, but they treated her super rude. They did nothing for her, even though they sold her a $168 shoe that was too small and didn't work for her type of job! She left so upset, but that didn't matter to them. Later, I called on her behave and spoke with the supervisor, Tom. He didn't even let me finish. He was so rude to me as well, and kept interupting me as I spoke, talked over me almost the whole time, and demanded I let him speak. At the end, he was the one to end our call because he said we obviously couldn't communicate. This store has horrible customer service, and does not care about the customer. It's a shame, because they lost two families as customers. One of which has been supporting them for years. Never again!
