An easy and pleasant purchase experience ... I purchased a 2014 Corolla S Plus in March and couldn't be more pleased with how simple and pleasant I found the experience. I traded a couple of emails (and a single phone call) with friendly staff, yielding a price quote on a vehicle and an appointment to meet with my sales rep, Antonyo Pena, the same day as the phone call. Antonyo met me at the front desk and we made a short trip to view "my" car and take it for a test drive. Mr. Pena is friendly and knowledgeable and seemed to sense that I had already been researching the vehicle for a couple of weeks and knew what I wanted. That said, he still provided me with new information and fielded every question. Whether they were about the car itself, options I was considering, or the buying process in general he always had an answer. Even some honest opinions when I asked for them, which I appreciate. I think most of us as consumers have dealt with a "hard sell" somewhere in some form or other. I felt nothing of the sort. I enjoyed hanging out with Antonyo throughout the process (which took a couple of hours, but didn't feel like it). He helped me get good value out of the vehicle accepted in trade and I never felt as if I was being juggled with something or someone else. After accepting a very fair offer for my 4Runner, it was time to visit finance and nail down the rest of the specifics - service packages, protective options and the like. I got to practice my signature a bit and visited with more friendly staff. My time spent with finance was also pleasant and informative, no "hard sell" there either. My questions were all answered as we talked about how the servicing schedule would work for the car and what I could expect to pay the first few years in that regard. I rounded out exactly how I wanted my Corolla, we generated a bit of a paper trail and I was eventually reunited with my sales rep. Antonyo seemed genuinely interested in my happiness, that I'd been taken care of in his absence and asked if I had any further questions. He took care of the initial service appointment (I had some options that needed to be installed/performed by the service department, also a pleasant experience - I had to relinquish my vehicle for a day and was provided with a nice loaner in the interim) and let me know what to expect over the next couple of weeks. I do believe he stayed late for me as well. A manager (Mr. Gillette) came out to introduce himself and shake my hand. My family's done a lot of business with Beaverton Toyota over the years and he thanked me for our patronage. Eight cars (!). Two Camrys, a Celica, a Yaris, an Echo, a Highlander and a 4Runner. And now a Corolla. Maybe that last bit of info would have made for a more concise review. We've made a habit of coming back and that is to Beaverton Toyota's credit. I've traded several phone calls with Antonyo since the purchase (and chatted near the service dept.) and he's continued to make himself available to answer my questions, be they about the car or DMV or whatever. I couldn't ask for greater service, pay him a visit. Toyota makes reliable cars with low cost of ownership. I'm really enjoying the Corolla. It looks and drives nice and the fuel economy puts a smile on my face. Beaverton Toyota is the place to find your own. Make a call, shake a hand, then place yours on a wheel and see what you think. I'll bet you like what you find there. You may even find yourself moved to buy a couple of cars from them. Or eight.
