You must read my story to truly understand this review! \r
This is THE PLACE FOR Physical Therapy in Portland.\r
I had severe pain radiating down my arm, pretty much all of last year. It was due to Osteophyte pressing on my spine. I saw all kinds of doctors, had spinal injections , couple of MRIs, some Physical therapy elsewhere and some heavy duty meds too. None of it seemed to help. Finally I was lined up to have Spine surgery done in December.... my Neurosurgeon recommended me to go to CH Physical Therapy, before we do the surgery as a last ditch attempt.\r
It was the best decision we have ever made.\r
Colin (the owner) very professional and charming young man reviewed my case and lined me up to do PT with Tawnie at Tigard. He promised me that it is not a feel good sort of a PT but I will be sweating at the end of the sessions. No nonsense approach and a great place to get PT done in my opinion. What they concentrated on was to strengthen my muscles to eliminate pain. (I later I found out that Tawnie has a doctorate in PT. So Dr Tawnie Cowen very modest too.)\r
What an amazing person not only she is qualified to assign PT but is a very kind person with a infectious smile and goes over and above her call of duty to help you. She worked diligently with me for two months ....I too followed her exercise regimen very religiously and as I write today I am pain free and do not need spine surgery !!!!!
