I thought about getting LASIK for years before I finally decided it was time. Everyone I know who has had LASIK is 100% satisfied with the results. And now I am also 100% satisfied with my result! Really, it seems miraculous to me that I now have 20/20 vision! The whole process from the consultation to the post-op visits has been smooth and pleasant. The staff are all wonderful, caring people. Everyone there has warm, soothing personalities. They completely put me at ease and I felt right at home. Dr. Mike Mann performed my surgery. I would like to commend my entire surgical team. They were all wonderful: Dr. Mike Mann-Surgeon Drs. Dana Ondrias & Sabrina Charrier-Pre-test and Post-op Angelique-Laser Tech MayLing-Laser Tech Maya-Prep and Instructions Victoria-Check In and appointments Justin-Flow and Instructions The surgery itself was surprisingly comfortable. I was told that I may feel pressure, but I guess my eyes were so numb from the drops they gave me beforehand, that I really did not feel a thing. They gave me 10 mg of valium pre-operatively, so after the procedure I enjoyed a little nap. After I woke that afternoon, I peeked out from behind my eye shields, and I already had my miracle moment. I could see across the room! Of course, it was even better the next morning. My only LASIK regret is that I did not do it years sooner. The freedom from glasses is amazing. Now I am wholeheartedly recommending this procedure to everyone I know who wears glasses or contacts, and I am referring my local friends to Mann Eye Institute, without hesitation.\r
