Everyone avoid Pope's Well Drilling in Lutz!!! I went through my recently deceased mother's filing cabinet today and found receipts where they charged my mom $400 to install a new pressure tank and lines on 4/30/2012. Then, 10 months later on 2/18/13, when the line sprung a ""pinhole leak"" (according to the work order) they ""got pump to seal for now"" (with ""seal for now"" underlined on the work order), wrote a list of required parts that included an entire new well pump. They only charged her $85 for the repair, which started leaking again when I was here in October 2013 (8 months later). My 12 yr old son and I fixed it with one trip to Home Depot and $20 in parts. Don't do business with Pope's Well Drilling.
