Review content:
This is a very different church experience from the typical experience one might have had before. It is quite worldly in it`s presentation and that is good and bad. The messages are pretty good most of the time unless you happen to be there during one of the pledge series where they shamelessly beg for your money an then go on some vacation. The music is great with many talented people playing in the band. Don`t count on making friends there a whole lot as they are very clicky, especially the staff. They talk one way during the service, but act totally different in person. In fact, some people on the staff are downright mean spirited and cold twards you. I have been going there for four years and have yet to have the campus pastor talk to me unless We corner him and even then he is rather short with me. Probably busy thinking about running or Chicago sports. The only reason I continue to go there is the kids love the weeknight programming. But I will say, in spite of the people, God moves. Lifes are changed and souls are saved.Nothing to do with Eagle Brook, just that God is God. Oh, one more thing, they may not talk to you but they will be happy to cash your check.
