whatever you do, do not make any LIVE plant donations to this senior center! At least not as long as Cynthia Norton is director! After donating a 15 year old rubber tree to the center, Ms. Norton decided to oust the plant when it was 2 degrees outside and -15 wind chills the night before!!! I discovered the plant left outside the senior center on a Saturday morning when I drove by! The plant had been left outside either Friday or Thursday but when I discovered it out in the cold, there was nothing I could do-except get angry. The plant was donated to the center 3 years prior, because they have PLENTY of room (just check out their function room!) and because it was too big for me to move around. Ms. Norton claimed she put the plant outside for anyone to take!(?)! Yea, right in 2 degree weather, someone's going to drive buy and pick up a 5ft tropical plant left outside to FREEZE to DEATH.
