This is a dishonest retailer. Stay away!! i stopped in for convenience passing during infrequent travel into Boston in December. The salesman seemed knowledgeable about the wine i was looking for, did not have it and vociferously urged an alternative. As i went to take one from the rack he handed me another. Upon opening that night, that wine had turned. The store was passive-aggressive about a refund for the bad wine. i called the store only to be put off by the clerk who answered to call another time for a manager. i did that the next day, and was treated to an endless telephone hold. Getting no call back, i mailed the receipt with an explanation. There has been no reply at all! Quality wine merchants will stand by their products; this one appears to exist to fleece the consumer. One can wonder at the stupidity of getting away with picking my pocket for $20.00 and losing much more in good will and future sales, but those are the realities at this Martignetti. i will NEVER go there again. They have cheated and alienated this oenophile customer.
