Review content:
The owner of Carpet Source, Don, came out to our house when we were looking to get some carpeting done. He walked us through the process step by step. We gave him an idea of what we wanted beforehand, so he brought tons of different square samples with him. He even went back to his office to pick up some more squares, and we ended up going with one of those. It really felt like he was giving us individualized care.
The installers came and worked very hard during the job. We had them do a living room, a bedroom, and a hallway that was a bit tricky. They moved the heavy furniture out. Then, they installed all of the carpeting. It wasn't a large area, but they really took their time to look at the job and decide where the seams should be since it was supposed to flow in the same direction. They were in and out of there in under six hours.
There were no problems at all with their work. We didn't have to call them back for anything afterwards. In the end, everything looked good and was ready for Thanksgiving, even with the short notice we gave them.
We got really lucky finding Carpet Source. They provided great customer service. It's nice to be able to give our business to a local company rather than a big box company. You will do better going with a local company and a local owner who knows customer service. In the last 5+ years, customer service has gone to the waste side, but Don makes sure to do a really good job for his customers.
