Review content:
I would not recommend this dentist office to anyone. I went back in July of 2012 (refused to go back) and I am STILL dealing with billing issues. The visit itself was mediocre. The hygienist was nice, but I did not like how Dr. Rosenblatt pushed whitening (went so far as to take my picture and show me how different my teeth could look if I had the procedure done). She also recommended some follow-up procedure for my gums, but I was pregnant and it is not unusual to have gum issues while pregnant. \r

The WORST part of the whole experience has been billing. When I went, they copied my card and I made it clear to submit to the address on the back. ONE YEAR LATER, I received a bill (still the only one I have received to this day). I called right away, and was told they would try to resubmit to my insurance. Just this week, I called them on my own volition to check the status and was basically told my account would be going to collections. I argued that it should not be my responsibility that they did not do the proper follow-up. They messed up by: 1) not sending claim to the correct insurance company initially after I gave them all the proper information at my visit, 2) letting my file sit there and not notify me until a year later that they sent my claim to the wrong insurance company, 3) waited until I called them another 5 months later to tell me I would be going to collections (and threatening that my credit would be ruined if I didn't pay the bill). I asked that they write the balance off because it was their fault things were not handled correctly and was told that wouldn't happen. I asked to speak with the office manager, and was told she doesn't have a say in billing matters. The billing person told me the dentist would not write it off because I received the services, so I asked to speak with the dentist since she made the decision to write things off, and was told I wouldn't be able to do that. \r

I will say that someone new took over billing this past summer, hence finally receiving a bill. I hope this helps them become more professional and ethical with their billing practices. \r

Luckily, when I called my insurance, they said they would pay the charges. However, I went through a great deal of frustration to get to this point.
