Review content:
I was referred to Lakewood Family Dental by one of my colleagues. I had a broken, root canal filled tooth removed as it was slowly falling apart.
Doctor I saw at my first appointment was very professional and took the time to explain the options available to me and gave me plenty of opportunities to ask any questions instead of rushing up with the treatment.
Dr was clear, calm and reassuring and was happy to answer my questions and explain what he was going to be doing. Throughout the procedure he repeatedly checked in that I was doing ok and offered me the chance to have a break if I needed it. The extraction went smoothly so the whole thing was over pretty quickly. I got good follow up with advice on pain relief (and what to expect), how to look after the area to prevent infection and what to do if bleeding was a problem. This was supplemented with written instructions to take away with me too. Overall I have to say this has been a very positive experience. I was seen quickly and treated with real respect and care and the staff at the Lakewood Family Dental are real treasures!
