Absolute worst experience I have had at a salon. I was kept waiting for 35 minutes. No one apologized and the owner - Roman Capristo - who was cutting my hair, did not seem to notice he had left me waiting. No big deal, right? The shampoo was pleasant. I told Roman to trim the hair overall and I wanted to look modern/sophisticated. He was barely paying attention to what he was doing. Made several offensive remarks about other patrons of his salon, as well as some generally offensive comments in general. All of this - personality, lateness, etc. is forgivable in my mind if you get an excellent cut. The cut was horrid. To the point where it was uneven (and not in a good, funky way)! Plus he fried my hair with a curling iron, applied a ton of product. Half the time he wasn't even looking in my direction while he cut my hair! I honestly am not sure if he was stoned or something. That would be an excuse at least. I had to go to another salon the next day to get my hair fixed! Maybe this was a freak occurrence? I don't know. And I won't be going back EVER to find out. My recommendation to you - if you go, don't let Roman cut your hair!
