I think Montell Construction needs some real improvement in the cleanup department. They put on a whole new roof and had to take off two layers, which is a big deal, but I don't know why I should have to go out and pick up roofing material from the yard. My husband took care of putting our picnic table back from where they had moved it, too. The owner did have the crew come back to fix things because even he thought it didn't look good, but they were still a little sloppy and didn't get everything.
As far as the service and the guy trying to make good on things, I felt it was really nice. He was nice and wanted to help right things, but I feel he could use a cleaning crew.
RESPONSE FROM Montell Construction:
I would like to take just a moment to reflect and comment back. A couple weeks ago we were contracted to do some gutter work and completed that w/i a couple days. I believe the customer here was so happy with our team that we were then contracted to do a new roof, as there was rotted decking on the backside and the current roof was > 20 yrs old. Within days we started, job was challenging due to blizzard like conditions (winds gusting > 60 mph freezing 20 degrees much snow!). Our team never stopped and we completed entire roof project and FREE upgrades < 2 1/2 days! Because of the snow, it was impossible for the team to see everything during clean-up. As soon as the snow melted (2 days later), our team returned at 8am to clean further. I have taken good care of my customer here, have always responded to each and every request as I am few blocks and a phone call away. I will be there in the morning to personally make sure this job site is clean. George Montell McNew/ President
