Yes it is a tourist trap. Yes the stores are all over-priced. Yes it is crowded. Yes the restaurants are over-priced mediocre food. But I will be damned if I still just can't resist this place. A spectacular people watching venue. A nice small aquarium, great views of the bay, noisy and stinky seal lions (or sea pigs, I don't know). Love watching the tourists getting lost and confused. The shows are a bit stale and I actually tipped a guy selling CDs to not sing any more as he was destroying Nights in White Satin, but overall, Satchell and I shall return.
