Review content:
I am a new patient of Dr. Ermac, fantastic previous Dr. that I had retired, hence the reason for this change. On the 1st visit a minute amount of blood was in my urine so he told me to retest in a couple of weeks. I had to make an appt. to do so. On that 2nd Appt. my Insurance & Medicare had not paid yet so when I registered I was told I could not see the Dr. unless I paid that amount. I was running out of Diovan on a Thur. The Mon. before I contacted CVS for a refill, was never a problem. I checked back again on Thur. but was told they would not refill by fax. It was too late to contact Hse for a refill so early Friday morning I called and left a message stating I desperately needed a refill. No call back so I called again shortly after their lunch and told the lady about my need for a refill & was blown away when told I would have to come by physically to pick up the prescription. I am 65 yrs. old and never ever had to do that. I told her about calling with no response so she put me on hold for close to 20 minutes to speak to his nurse. Once again, blown away because she said the Dr. was gone for the day & nothing could be done. Maybe over reacting, but I feared my blood pressure could begin to climb, which it did. On Sun. it was 160/95 plus that I had a TIA previously and felt uncomfortable being off of Diovan. This morning, Monday, they best be prepared for a very irate patient and my advice will be to take me to see the Office Manager so I don't create a scene in the lobby. This chat should be with Dr. Ermac but almost certain I would need an appt. to do so.
