Review content:
Before going to this Vet, I read the reviews here, and was quite leery about going, but my cat had to be seen due to a wound, and our family vet could not see her for a week. In any event, I went to the facility, met with the tech, Lisa, who was very nice; however, she couldn't schedule an appointment, but took my information. Twenty minutes later, I get a call from another person, the receptionist, who stated my cat could be seen the next day; however, what struck me as an odd practice, was their insistency to secure my credit card over the phone prior to the visit; especially since no other vet I contacted had this policy. I expressed that I was uncomfortable with giving such information over the phone, and questioned why they needed my credit card prior to the visit. In essence, they were going to charge my credit card if I showed up or not the full amount of $92! What a scam! I understand charging a nominal ""no show"" fee, but the full amount! And please, give me the benefit of the doubt before you assume I'm a deadbeat from whom you need to collect ASAP! Needless to say, I did make the appointment. And although they are less then a mile away from where I live, I am taking my cat to Bartonsville (12 miles) away. Although I can't comment directly on the Vet's bedside manner, as did others; I am comfortable with stating that such an aggressive payment/appointment policy does give me insight to the personality of the Vet, who assuredly sets and/or approves the policy. As such, I will not change my current vet.\r
