High fevers, sickness and medicine that allow your teeth to discolor….a child’s life that becomes an adult’s nightmare. Years ago who would think that taking medicine to cure a sickness would cause you to have discolored teeth and turn your world upside down. Your hands become part of your face to hide what others laugh at. Your confidence level falls as you walk into a room and never once do you smile in a photo all due to the discoloration in your mouth. If you think that is something not relevant, think again. My life was a world where I didn’t smile for fear of being teased. I stop a singing career due to comments regarding my teeth and regret that I hardly have any photos with my children. Discoloration and teeth problems followed me throughout the years. As an adult it caused me to shy away from meeting potential clients, failing to go to meetings and enjoying life. But that all changed when I met Dr. Barsky and his team. From the moment I met him I knew he would change my life forever. He is not only a superb prosthodontist, but a doctor who cares. With his outstanding team he treated me with kindness and patience and gave me something that I only had dreamt of throughout the years, a smile that was not discolored… a smile that was finally me. As I looked into the mirror and saw my smile, tears filled my eyes for finally I can face life with confidence and a smile. There are no words that I can write to express what Dr. Barsky and his team did for me but what I can say is that he is extraordinary man in his field and there is no other like him.
