Review content:
Edson Farms use to be a good store when the owners were the only people working there. Recently I have had several bad experiences and I won't be back! First I walked into the store and asked for a common homeopathic remedy. The person behind the register sat there and looked at me like I had three heads, she didn't move but told me with a wave of her hand that all the homeopathic remedies were "over there". She then went back to reading her book. The second incident, I ordered a large bag of organic, long grain brown rice since they did not have it in the store I was told they would call me when it came in. After waiting 3 weeks I called, the person on the phone said "oh yeah, I was wondering who that belonged to, you can pick it up anytime". I brought it home, put it in a sealed, airtight container in my garage knowing we would not use all of it for about 2 months. I opened the container a few weeks later to get some for the household container and was met with a swarm of grain moths. After using only 3 pounds of this 50 pound bag, I had to throw the remainder of it into my compost because it was so infested. Strike 2 was a big one! Three, I walked into the store and again was met with a young woman who was too absorbed in her reading to help me, I asked for ColdCalm, a common remedy for cold and flu symptoms, she looked on a few shelves, not being familiar with the product or the store and, when she couldn't find what I needed she went back to the register and her reading leaving me to fend for myself. I left that day disgusted and vowed that I would not return! If I choose to spend that much money in a specialty store I expect to get a little better service! Edson Farms has been a huge disappointment for me!
