I have been a homeowner in the Nashville area for well over 30 years. Although I have built a very successful business, I have absolutely no do-it-yourself handyman skills at all---- I have always been at the mercy of finding roofers, carpenters, plumbers, mechanics, etc etc who will do a good job at a fair price, and most importantly, do the job right the first time !!! Good old-fashioned American craftsmanship is a thing of the past, as you probably already know if you are a homeowner. When I find topnotch people in any field, I make dang sure that everybody I know gets the message. These guys from SCULPTED EARTH ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST THERE IS at what they do. I hired them to take out a 25-year-old crosstie retaining wall that was rotted out and inviting termites into the foundation of my house. My house is on the side of a rocky ridge in Cheatham County, and this job was a problematic one at best. These guys did not flinch when it came to chiseling out the rock that they hit pretty quickly, just with a pickaxe and shovels. They were meticulous in the prep-work that is extrememly important in this type of structural landscape work, measuring and keeping everything level and chiseling each block to fit into the wall perfectly. Gravel and drain pipes were all put in as they should have been. It was like watching the guys who laid the pyramids !!! When you build a masonry block wall with this type of attention to detail, the thing can stand for literally centuries without major structural issues. Most of the house and buildings in Nashville will be dust and this wall next to my driveway will still be standing !!!These guys have not even finished the work yet, and I am so fired up about the quality of what they have done that I wanted to go ahead and leave a thumbs up for them. They have really done a superb job, and their prices seem very reasonable considering the quality of their work. If anything, they are below market value for what they do. I highly recommend SCULPTED EARTH for any landscaping jobs you have, large or small.\r \r P.S. They are also really cool guys !!!\r \r P.P.S. This review does not seem to be posting !!!\r
