OVER PRICED! OUTRAGEOUS PRICING!\r

I recently ordered some invitations and printed with Allegra and the customer service was exceptional, but the price was a little high. The invitations they printed came out great, but today I called them to get a quote on getting a few extra RSVP cards printed which consisted of the following:\r

- (Qty. 3) 11x17 Full Color Double Sided Prints\r
- Cutting them down into 6 sections (7cuts total)\r
- I provided them with a print ready file!\r
\r
The employee I spoke with quoted me $36.66 for this order! That is ridiculous, I have worked in the print / design industry for over 10 years and most standard print company would charge the following:\r

11x17 prints on cardstock would be $1.50 at most per side (usually get a discount on the second side), and usually .50 to $1.00 per cut usually discounted for multiple cuts. That would bring the total too approximately $16.00 now that would be on the high end for new / one time customers. They also wanted to charge me $10.00 just to download my file! That is outrageous! Also note that we had already spent a few hundred dollars with them initially to get our invitations printed, and this is how they treat repeat customers?\r

I would not recommend Allegra for your printing services for they only care about making money and don’t understand the concept of bringing in repeat customers. General rule of thumb is that you want to keep clients happy and keep them coming back. Do you really think it cost them that much to cut paper down? Standard printers cost about .01 per click to print 11x17! So for argument sake you could say a standard 11x17 print would cost 5 – 10 cents per print, now you would think a company would discount prints for repeat customers??? \r
