Master Movers? More like ""Master Rip-Off Artists!"" \r \r After seeing a recent ""Amazon LocalDeals,"" and needing help with a move, we decided to give them a call. Jennifer was very pleasant to deal with and was patient as we had to reschedule the move three times (because of difficulties with our house closing). \r \r I didn't want to pay for very much moving time since they charge by the hour. I rented my own truck, and got all of our boxes and loose junk taken care of the previous evening. The only thing we asked them to move was our heavy furniture. About 25 pieces, total. \r \r On the day of the move, they were 30 minutes late. Three very rough-looking guys showed up. They were nice, but scary. They proceeded to slowly take a look at all the furnitre, whine about the treadmill, and then talk about their strategy for a while. The clock was ticking. It was a good 30 minutes before they really started removing furniture from my home. \r \r They were excellent packers. The items on the truck didn't move an inch. However, several hours later, we still hadn't left the house! It was maddening to see them slowly saunter here and there and every once in a while grab a piece of furniture. When I hinted that they needed to hurry things along, scary dude #1 looked at me with a death stare and said ""Why? Do we have some kind of a time limit?"" Upsetting, to say the least. \r \r When everything was said and done, they had taken seven hours to complete a job that should have taken three or four hours, max! A week after the move, I wrote a long letter of complaint and asked that someone get back to me. That was five weeks ago and I still haven't heard from them. \r \r I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. They are masters at taking their sweet time while the clock ticks away. Slow, slow, slow. I couldn't be more dissapointed.
