Review content:
My wife and I hadn't been to the Traprock Inn for a couple of years but used to go regularly to enjoy one of the best Burgundy Steak dinners on the planet. Two days ago we went back for another. The first thing we noticed was that the parking lot was nearly empty. It used to be hard to find a spot. The next thing I noticed was the smell of stale cigarette smoke as we walked in the door. In spite of these two warning signs, we decided to venture in for a memorable steak dinner. The waitress was pleasant and service was prompt. We ordered our steaks medium well and medium rare. When we got our salads it looked like the small pack of crackers had been recycled a few times. The steaks both came medium rare and quite chewy. The burgundy marinade also tasted like it had been reused too many times. What a shame. It used to be a great place.
