Review content:
I have taken vehicles here in the past and received standard service. When someone backed into my car, it was the first place that came to mind because at least I knew the work was average. This time, they fixed my car just fine, but broke my key fob in the process. They did not tell me this when I picked up the car- it was taped very carefully together with black electrical tape and the front office man distracted me by talking about paint chips he could fix for me. My father drove my car to the car rental location and did not mention the key being broken until we got the rental location. I went back to the store and was treated exceptionally poorly. I asked what happened to the key and the same man told me it broke and it was my fault because a previous owner had apparently glued it back together. I requested the key be replaced since it was perfectly functional before I brought it to them. He told me that I ""was not going to win"" and that the repair center functioned like a ""nursing home."" In his words, verbatim: ""If a 90 year old man enters a nursing home and dies of a cold, that is not the nursing home's fault."" I found this exceptionally belittling and crass, as I was wearing surgical scrubs from being in the operating room all day(I am a nurse practitioner, but I am sure he thought I was a CNA at a local nursing home).\r

Regardless, this man is apparently the owner after further research and communication. Initially, he stated they would split the cost but when he found out that would be approximately $100 of his money, he backed out. If this was not a he said/she said issue, I would take him to court. He is rude, has no idea how to socially interact with customers, and does not stand behind his/his employees errors. If I am going to have an average repair job on my car, I expect the service to compensate. I will never take a vehicle back here; my family is very connected in the Harrisonville/Raymore/Belton community and this owner has just lost much of his business.
