I called Neering's to service my AC unit that I assumed just needed a recharge and/or some kind of simple servicing. Robert came out and went on and on about how my unit was too big for the amount of vents I have in my home and he could either completely replace it for $3,047 or he could put a bigger motor in my furnace (what?!?) for $1,045!!! He said there was nothing else that could be done. How does this guy sleep at night? I am a single mother!\r
So I called the original installer. It just needed 2 pounds of freon! It's running beautifully and we're staying cool finally for $269.00!!!\r
Since this happened, I've heard they are a rip off from others. I wish I had checked into them first!\r
Do yourself a big favor and call someone else!!!
