Recently, we changed our Magento hosting to Nexcess (changed from one of the largest US based hosting services). The improvement in page load speed is significant. But best of all is the unparalleled support which we have enjoyed from the Nexcess team. They are always ready to quickly assist in solving any issue that invariably comes up in a major move like this. They have taken on any of our support requests with gusto - even solving problems we caused ourselves. We just wish we would have started out with Nexcess (rather than another provider), as it would have made our initial launch much easier. 100% recommended to anyone (especially if you are running Magento - these Nexcess guys are the real experts).
