Review content:
It is my first time using Schmidt Painting. They did interior painting and a full exterior painting that also involved power washing. The most important part is the really excellent prep. Derrick also referred me to someone to replace the gutters and worked elaborately with him.
Most important thing was how knowledgeable Derrick and his wife was about painting. I live on Cape Cod and moisture is a big issue, living near the ocean. They really came up with ways to manage problems so their knowledge base was really impressive. Communication was impressive because the biggest drawback in hiring even very good trade people is that communication is often a barrier in getting what you want. The people that paint and work with him are fantastic and well-supervised. He does advertise that you don't finish paying until everything is fixed and he honors that. I didn't have a lot of problems, but there are always little things that happen at the end. He's really dedicated to solve problems and helps you figure out what to do.
I'm a fussy customer and got a number of bids but I selected Schmidt Painting on the basis of their knowledge and expertise. I was not the least bit disappointed.
