Long before I met Jason, I had acumulated the OEM parts directly from Japan to add a 13-gallon petrol subtank to my 1997 Landcruiser for long distance and backcountry travel. The project was unique in that the subtank was only available on Landcruisers destined for Australia and Saudi Arabia. I found Jason on this site and after reading the positive reviews and meeting him in person I knew he was the right man for the job.\r

Intitially, Jason thought we could complete the project in about six weeks. Five months later, the project had been mostly completed. While the time frame may seem protracted, anyone would have to understand that this project has only been attempted by a few in the U.S. and foreign service manuals detailing the procedure are extremely rare. But, Jason kept after the project refusing to give up calling the few knowledgable people who had attempted this project and researching worldwide to make sure the project was done right. I was ready to give up long before he was.\r

The remaining piece of the project involves the wiring of the overhead console compass. An Australian soldier returning from Iraq has agreed to photograph the wiring in his vehicle for Jason in January of 2010 so the project can be completed. I have no idea how he found this guy!\r

Overall, I am very happy with the outcome of the project and hope to have it wrapped up soon so that Jason and I can get started on the next project...adding OEM electric differential lockers.
