I have been with ENT for almost 15 years. They used to be the best, but when they acquired a CC that went belly up in Denver things changed. The local branches are still great, but the management that was kept from the US Alliance seems to have trouble dealing with people. It has gone downhill since they were absorbed in terms of customer service. Yes, they paid a dividend this year and that kept us with them, but honestly I am shopping around. I was owed some money from my finance company and instead of sending me a check they sent me back my bill pay check. I did not notice the mistake and deposited the check as it was for the same amount. When I caught the error I contacted ENT. I also withdrew money from my Wells Fargo account and rushed home from the mountains to deposit the money to cover the check. However, ENT turned off my debit card so that I could not deposit the money and then charged me a $100.00 in NSF fees. ENT never told me they were turning off the card despite the fact that I called them and they returned my call. I got to the branch at 6:05, but was unable to use the ATM. I drove 150 miles….for nothing In the old days they would have never turned off a card without telling a customer. They would have worked with me to allow me to get to the bank. In the old days they cared about customers as people…now we are just assets.
