My 7 year old grandchild had to have a few things done on her teeth at the Fridley location clinic by Dr Richmond or should we say. ( Dr.Rude) She was scared so asked me if i would come along,itold her abolutely..\r
First of all, her appointment was at 11:15. We arrived a whole half hour early and were told great we should be able to get her in..Not.. we not only waited till 11:15 but we didn't get in until 11:45 or so.. finally my daughter asked what the wait was and then was told they were running 15 minutes behind,we were already a half hour behind..I feel she should have been told they were running behind not have to ask...\r
We finnally were called in and it's a room filled with screaming kids and loud maddness going on,,,\r
she was put in the chair givin a local and then the dentist came over and started to give novacain and of course it will hurt a little but it really hurt her alot..Isaid could you give her more of the local and the dentist lost her mind...She said trust me i know what im doing, me; I realize that,but it is obvious it is hurting her alot. she told me i would have to leave cause i was making it hard for her to do her job.( Idid not leave). I meant no disrespect to her in any way..But tolerance is different for everybody.. I feel if the dentist was shaken up by the previous few children she should have taken a few minutes to calm down herself....she did not have to be rude to me and jump down my throat..\r
Since when did a patient become just a number?\r
I feel this is the way we were treated..\r
This clinic all around needs help with people skills that is a definate fact...
