Review content:
Spherion can find you some decent, good paying jobs, but good luck getting them to call you back about them. I have worked with them for several years & they always 'forget' to call me back. I always have to call them & their answer is always ""Oh yeah! We were supposed to call you weren't we?"" I find that very unprofessional, not to mention very annoying. Half the time when they DO call, they often call the wrong numbers too. I missed out on a good job once because they called one of my old numbers that I haven't had for over a year, despite me having provided my current number.
About a 2 years ago before I broke down & got a bank account, I had them mail my checks to me. DO NOT DO THIS. My check was not issued one week due to some clerical error, and I got the runaround for a whole month over it. I was nice about it but one of the office ladies was rather rude, mocking my frustration when I called after 3 weeks had passed with no check. I finally got it after I filed a claim with the labor department. But I also was denied a job that I was scheduled to start after filing that claim, so it really makes you think, huh?
Bottom line- if I wasn't so desperate for work right now I'd sever all ties with this agency. The people that work there are nice, but somewhat incompetent.
Pros: Decent jobs
Cons: Broken dialing fingers!
