Review content:
I rarely write reviews because no one impresses me that much, but these guys did. The fifth gear on my manual transmission had gone out and I wanted my mechanics to fix it. I had gone to MY guys for years and so had my parents. They couldn't fix it , so they sent me to Waterloo.
I was nervous because I didn't know the people at Waterloo Transmission. They got me in quickly, diagnosed the problem quickly, did an estimate quickly. They paid half for the rental car I needed for a day. They found a remanufactured transmission with less than 8,000 miles on it that was a much better choice than fixing fifth which would cost almost the same amount and which gave me no guarantee that my 140,000 mile car wouldn't lose first through fourth gears. The car was fixed in one day. They showed me everything ...the old transmission, the new one, etc. Really. I was practically in love with these guys by the time I got my car. I felt like they were my neighbors and I could trust them.
