We tried this service once with the new owner, Mr. Lepak, and was unhappy with the way he conducts business. Some of our regular buyers were not happy either with the 10% Buyer's Premium they were charged.. He was quite rude to our staff and rude with the buyers at the auction.\r \r Since then we have not used his service. Mr. Lepak keeps sending us emails threatening us to use his services or he will have to report us to the State of Hawaii. Which he did. We obtained our auctioneer license (which was a very easy process) so we would no longer have to deal with Mr. Lepak.\r \r Mr. Lepak continues to harass us and his way of doing business is to intimidate and bully businesses into using him.\r \r My advice.....obtain your auction license for $100 with the State of Hawaii and get a bond for $500 as required by the state. The whole process takes less than 4 hours. Trust me when I say that the money/time you spend will be worth not having the aggravation of dealing with Mr. Lepak.
