Review content:
Do not use Fry-Wagner/United in St. Louis. They didn't send the equipment they quoted. Then they refused to credit back the difference. My movers put us into storage in Texas while we waiting for my husband to have surgery in St. Louis and recover. They put me in a hallway behind one of our desks in a chair and told me to check off the boxes on my list. All the furniture remained blanket wrapped. They left about 20 of their big blankets on the large furniture. When I hired a local mover to move us into our new home, they pointed out problems as they unloaded the lockers and took off the blankets. Fry Wagner knew I was going into storage. They never told me to inspect each piece of furniture as they were put into a dark storage big in 110 degrees in Dallas in August. They just sent me a letter saying they are rejecting our claims for damage to our furniture. I thought I'd get better service using a national name - not true in this case. I documented the damage as the blankets were removed. Not good enough evidently. The movers told me at the time - don't worry - you have 6 months to file a claim. What a joke.
