Review content:
I absolutely DO NOT recommend moving here. There are cheaper facilities with more responsive management at other apartment complexes. The rent is on the higher side, but then the water bill arrives...I have a water bill for over 80 dollars. Guess how much of that bill is water? A whole 10 dollars! The late fee is 100 dollars as of the 2nd for rent and 8 dollars (10%) for the water bill.\r
\r
Here is a great review of First Billing, the group you will pay your ""water bill"" to: http://rentn.org/first-b…\r
\r
When I first moved in they added the washer and dryer for free. Turned out that that was only free for one year. Convenient.\r
\r
If you have a pet there is a pet deposit and then a monthly pet fee. I would assume most places charge one, but not both as the fees are basically to cover any damage. \r
\r
I had a leaking sink in the kitchen. It took 11 days and three phone calls for it to be fixed. The parking situation is fine, but when they decide they want to fix the asphalt you receive 24 hours notice (if that) that your car will be towed if it is not moved the next day. Notices have been left on doors saying they will be in your apartment over the next week with dates starting the day before the notice is placed on the door. \r
\r
The gate that I now assume I am paying for (common electric and such is labeled on my water bill) is frequently left wide open. Recently, there is even a code printed and taped to the outside so anyone can get in. Please tell me why I am paying for that service.\r
\r
I was interested in looking for a new place to live, but there is no lease break clause. If you move here and do not like it, or things cost more than you were expecting with the tacked on fees, there is no real option to get out of the lease. They do not allow subleasing either.\r
\r
Columbus is way too big a city to settle for this apartment complex.
