Review content:
I have been bringing my family’s two cars to Import Domestic for a couple of years, and had been generally satisfied with the work done. Unfortunately, my last experience was poor and as a result I will never be returning. I took my car, a 2002 BMW 330ci, in for a blower fan issue, which turned out to be condensation in the wiring. After fixing the issue, my wife and 70 year old mother went to pick it up after hours as I had just had back surgery and was hesitant to drive. When my wife got in the car she discovered that the seat had been moved almost all of the way back, and she was unable to move it forward. After 20 minutes of trying different things they left the car where it was and drove 30 minutes home. The next day I was told that the wiring under the seat was the issue, which would be several hundred dollars to repair. The issue was blamed on a CD case under the seat, which seemed odd to me given that the CD case had been under the seat for 10 years without any issues despite me moving the seat around all the time. I know for a fact that the seat had been working the day I brought the car in as I had adjusted it (I had been using an ice pack in my car for my back and would move the seat back when doing so). Even if the CD case had been involved it was clearly the action of one of the mechanics moving the seat way back that actually broke it. After repairing the seat I drove down with my mom after hours to retrieve the car, after calling to let them know I would be coming, and asking that the car be left out in front. Unfortunately, the car was not left out in front and another customer apparently had dropped their car off, blocking my car. So after trying unsuccessfully to call Scott, the owner, for 20 minutes we drove the 30 minutes home, again. I was finally able to retrieve my car the next day. \r

I thought about calling Scott to talk about my overall experience but decided I would rather post this review to various web sites (given that he could not be bothered apologizing for my inability to retrieve my car).\r
