Review content:
I was excited to be accepted to the group since I was under Medicare. I appreciated the fact that they would accept this insurance. However, there is no personal rapport going on in this group. It is way too big. One gets lost in the shuffle. The doctor that did my surgery I never saw again. I was always canceled at the last minute or scheduled with someone else who was available. There were many mixups and screwups. I have two friends that feel the same way. I am now in the process of establishing a new relationship with Dr. Laura Rivers, who had been in this group and has now departed...she is in the North Fulton Hospital Breast Cancer division and is head of it. (This has just been a recent development.) I am hoping that I find this a more personable experience and this other group was just too big. Think hard and twice about going here. And I have to say that the mammograms that I had there were the most painful I had ever had in my life. Excruciatingly so...I considered a second mastectomy on my other breast just so I did not have to go through that again.
