Review content:
I tried this gym after purchasing a Groupon. As a perpetual member of gyms, I needed to find one that was convenient and interesting and I found it here at Koko. First of all, the location is perfect - less than 10 minutes from my home. I signed up for the after-hours key so that I can go during the off-peak times, which works extremely well for my schedule. Going off-peak meant that I always had a Koko machine open and never had to wait (there are cardio machines too).
Secondly, I really like the pacer thingy - it's like a game for me and therefore keeps me engaged and interested. Sure, this isn't like a big chain gym with tons of equipment but it still gets the job done in seemingly a fraction of the time. The selling point for the gym is the fact that the machines are like personal trainers, customizing your workout just for you and your goals. I've never paid for a personal trainer and probably never will because I can't afford it. But Koko is a very happy medium for me.
As a member of other gyms, I found myself doing the same exercise every time. At Koko, the machine shows you what to do and the workouts are different every single time. This is important to me as the time I spent working out was no longer so dreadful.
The club is always clean. The manager, owner, and welcoming staff are helpful and very willing to work with you to solve any issues that can arise.
