So many great things to say about this hotel!Where to start?\r
Property: Older but well maintained. Rooms are clean and very comfortable, and decor is appealing to ones eye and up to date with down comforters! Fridge and microwave standard in each room and no additional charge unlike the Marriots and other places that charge! FREE wireless! Nice hot breakfast , not the standard contental but a buffet like youd pay $10 - $12 for at a dinner or resturant, and its free!\r
Staff: Superor service! Friendly, helpfull and very accomidating. The shuttle driver was a pleasure! The breakfast girl was funny and kept the buffet filled. See a staff memeber or member of management walking down the halls they stop and smile and greet you! They really make you feel valued and appreaited!\r
Price: Excelent. If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel that is comfortable this is your place. They do away with the beauty of chandelars in the lobby and marble counter tops in the bathroom but thats to keep the guests cost down. Want marble stay at Homewood Suites next door for $129 a night but lack the indivudual guest service, the breakfast and the free amenties all while sleeping on the same bed and watching he smae flat screen tv. Want a ultra low rate, stay next door at Red Roof. You get what you pay for, bed bugs and fith and rude employees! Put your dollar to good use stay at best western albany airport inn.\r
i have been many times for work with meetings and such. Catering is good and banquet staff wonderful! Function rooms are not 5 star in decor butht hey are not run down and are comfortable. ALso hld my daughters wedding here. For what you save in sleeping room rates, and ballroom decor you can personialize it with your decore as the ball room has unlimited possibilites. It would be nice if the ballroom was more classy and elegant bu then you would pay much much more I am sure.\r
Location is great. Near food, mall, movies and ariport.\r
Con: get rid of the smoking section. Non smoking rooms near by can still smell the smoke in the hallways.\r
Overall, if you are looking for a 5 star venue and have no problem spenidng the money go way this is not your destiantion. If you want value, comfort and are a everyday person who expects certain things but does not want to go broke getting those things, this is your place to stay!
