I have been living through a financial nightmare for many, many years and consider myself extraordinarily fortunate to have found Dr. Gebelt (unlike most lawyers, Dr. Gebelt holds a Ph.D. and a J.D.). He never cuts corners and always responds to questions. In addition, he explains the law and how it applies to each case. Prior to retaining Dr. Gebelt to handle my Chapter 7 bankruptcy, I had suffered through two previous “lawyers” who botched several Chapter 13s. The first one made countless errors and literally did not know my name at the final hearing – during which I finally fired her, and the second would send other attorneys, at the last minute, to represent me despite the fact that they knew nothing of my case. In addition, that second lawyer was one of the nastiest and most condescending individuals I have ever met; he ripped off thousands of dollars from me and left me in a deeper financial mess than before. In total desperation, I engaged in a lengthy search for someone with integrity, intelligence, and impeccable honesty. It was another kind attorney assisted me in finding representation. That attorney, who did not live in my area, knew of the problems I had and it was ultimately his referral to Dr. Gebelt that finally ended my nightmare. Meeting with Dr. Gebelt for the first time gave me confidence that my situation had the potential to finally be resolved. He remained with me through the entire process and, in addition to his impeccable skills as a bankruptcy attorney, he treated me with respect. I would like to strongly encourage anyone in Orange, Los Angeles, or other southern California counties to utilize his services. I only wish I had known about him five years ago.
