Review content:
I have never been more disappointed in my dogs' boarding experience. I was advised over the phone that my male dog needed antibiotics due to being in a fight on Wednesday. I picked them up today from Leesville Animal Hospital? and was told that the caretaker lost control of my male dog and dropped the leash which allowed the two dogs to come into contact. This was an extremely unfortunate situation considering the fact that I specifically requested that my dogs be kept separate from other dogs. I voiced my concerns about being charged for the antibiotics since 1. I was not advised of a cost during the initial phone call from the vet on site 2. the pet handler responsible for my dogs was the one who lost control of him. The vet/owner on site felt as if I should still be responsible, which is fine. I paid the $36 this one time but the $500-$1000/yr I spend on my dogs' boarding and vet care will be moved else where. I feel uncomfortable with the idea of being charged for something that could have been avoided in the first place and the way that this situation was handled in general. I sincerely hope this does not happen to anyone else.
