Review content:
Shady business practice. They're never told me that they were "out of network" for my insurance plan. I asked if they took my insurance when I made the call for the appointment; then asked them again when I checked in for my appointment; and it wasn't even explained to me when they went over the expenses. I didn't find out until I received my explanation of benefits from my insurance company. I immediately called them, over two weeks ago, and explained that I never knew this and now over $300 is coming out of my pocket. I spoke with Tasha who said she would speak with Dr Rice and get back with me. I had to follow up this past Monday, and was finally informed today, that they don't accept any "in-network" plans and that it's not their practice to inform if they are "out-of-network". I was told that I should have asked not "if they take my insurance" but "are they in-network" dentist.
