Review content:
I was having problems with a new garage door and opener that was just installed a couple weeks ago and I called A1 Advantage to come back out and fix the problem. When the owner showed up, he asked me when they had installed the garage door. I told him that they had just installed it a couple weeks ago. After a couple minutes it was clear that I had made a mistake. I soon discovered that the company that actually sold and installed the door was another company simply called A1 Garage Doors. When I realized that I had called the wrong company to come back for the repair, I apologized to the owner of A1 Advantage Garage Doors and offered to pay him for calling him by accident. He informed me that he would go ahead and repair the garage door since he was already there. He was not going to charge me a dime!!! After a little research, I discovered that A1 Advantage Inc. was the first company in business and the other company was started with a similar name later. In a nutshell, A1 Advantage Inc. fixed a garage door that was installed by one of their competitors. A1 Advantage showed me the reason why the garage door was coming apart due to incorrect tension of the springs which cause the rollers to leave the track. After repairing the garage door, the owner performed a service of correcting the proper spring tension and lubricating all the proper points. A1 Advantage is a true class act. I just wished that I purchased the door from them in the first place.
