I went down to Advanced Floor & Moldings to buy transition pieces. They were very knowledgeable about what transition pieces were right for me.
The only flaw I saw with the store was the fact that they had so many transition pieces that trying to find the right color or texture was very difficult. The store was not organized and there were just too many to look from. It became a search and guessing game as a customer. If you didn't help yourself, you were going to be there quite some time.
I think it would have taken a much bigger store to be able to have things organized by way of color, design, and some sort of pattern. They had multiple tones and colors of transition pieces within a one foot square. Go there with some time permitting if you're going to buy three or four different types of transition and are trying to get the right one. Go with at least an hour.
The customer service is great, though. They're eager to help you to find the right product and to offer you some advice about the products.
