Review content:
This store is anything but snobish. The folks that work there have been very kind to me in every transaction, and the services they offer are beyond anything you could expect from EMS REI or any local competitor. Outdoor has a wide selection of sports to offer: skiing, snowboarding, hiking, climbing, backpacking, boating, biking, and tons of clothing. They also have all of the little things that you will need along the way for each of those sports.
I have done some shopping around for skis and bikes, and I have found that their prices are the same, or in the case of skis, actually below prices that you can find on the internet.
Just my opinion, but if you got a snobish sales staff, and high prices, are you sure you weren't at another fairfield county sports shop? Also, the place is family owned, so if you get a sour attitude, tell Scott the general manager, I've complimented him on several occasions for running such a top notch joint.
